At times, we are harassed by our busy schedules, bruised by worry, anxiety, failure, guilt, and ultimately feel defeated by sin. Sometimes, all someone needs is a little encouragement. Someone to believe in them. Someone to let them know that everything will be okay.
Chuck Swindoll said it best, he said, “The beautiful thing about encouragement is that anybody can do it.”
Are you encouraging someone? Are you uplifting your brothers and sisters in the Lord? We all ought to be encouraging somebody. People blossom when encouraged by others. Let us consider one another [Hebrews 10:24-25]. Show love to someone. Don’t underestimate the impact you have in someone’s life. When you encourage someone, you give them that extra push that they need to be catapulted over the finish line to victory.
So I encourage you, let love lead the way as you encourage someone. God will abundantly bless you as you selflessly edify your brothers and sisters.
Let us be willing to scoop so low, so we could lift each other up. Love picks up and lifts up. Think about this as you go about your daily life – You’re someone’s answered prayer. what you sow, you reap. God NEVER forgets what you do for others; even when no one else is looking.
